More than 70 million Americans are hit by cybercrimes every year, often leaving people defrauded, spied on or publicly humiliated by having private photos and other information published online. More than two-thirds of small businesses have been victimized by hackers at least once. Some experts believe that just about every large organization and government agency has been breached. I read your NewsWeek article with great interest. I am a Vietnam Combat Medic vet.
I returned home and was always jaded against anything left.
I am a conservative, Christian man.
I came back from the war a patriot in a world entering a more chaotic political place than when I left .
I am also a college graduate and I have built a great Tech software company where I hire thousands of diverse employees each year.
My values are Christian first and American second.
As a tech man I fully understand data analytics and algorithms and I have researched plausible pathways the 2020 election and likely others were impacted .
I am certain of my skill to reason the data.
Next we know democrats were led to vote by Big Tech and that search engines searches took many to misinform them on facts.
Nice tricks.
There is a parallel view of the left being proponents of historical civilized views and value systems that are abhorrent to millions of us.
Shoving things down our throat and using ways to divide us are what will ultimately spark you civil war.
I hope not because I think you are correct in that the Civilian/ Veteran army could likely overcome China if it needed to.
It’s that powerful and as a vet I can tell you the rank and file will not fire on fellow Americans where as the generals likely would.
Let’s both pray this never happens because America would never be the same . Blood would drown us all.
It’s worth avoiding but the left is hell bent to provoke as it should because if there is a time it’s now while the right sits and watches. No real trouble actually.
Like the spark at Lexington that caused the shot heard around the world or the cannon fire against Fort Sumpter need to never happen .
Let’s pray together the fire never happens.
